At a recent wedding, a chap came up to me and started saying numbers and letters to me. I think he was trying to ask me if my camera/lens/flash was 4000 something-or-other HD-you-know-what-I-mean <insert more jargon here>. He was, I'm sorry to say, met with a blank stare. Which is where my admission comes in. I'm not a technology geek. I have no idea what the new release camera does or doesn't do. I have no idea what megapixel the brand spanking new, just announced, DSLR has. Don't get me wrong, show me a 35mm 1./8 lens and I may drool a little bit, but that's a beautiful bit of kit that has been around for a while and is known and loved by photographers.
I was relaying this to my friend Jo to which she uttered "cameras are like men - who cares what they're called, as long as it does what it's supposed to"
Funny (to me at least!), but it's also true. I know how to use the kit that I have, and as long as it does what I want it to do, and I can create images like this, I'm happy!

Have you loved looking at my recent work? Feel free to leave a comment or two. Even better, why don't you give me a call to talk about a family shoot. Why wouldn't you have beautiful images of your family in your home?
