A Family on a Farm Photoshoot

A Rainy Petworth Farm Shoot

If you have met me, you know I am quite an enthusiastic person; I honestly took it to a whole new level when this family booked and asked if the shoot could take place on their farm......yes please!

I think I have an affinity with farms as my Mum worked on one while she was pregnant with me, so I grew up with stories about a deaf cow who she used to have to bring in from the fields for milking.

After what seemed like endless days of rain, the weather wasn't looking great for this Petworth shoot, however due to two of the family members moving to Australia the very next day there was zero chance of rescheduling. We decided to do the extended family shot in the barn, on hay bales of course! Then low and behold, the weather started to clear. It gave us a great opportunity to photograph the boys and their pet sheep with the backdrop of dramatic skies, and as they are both bike mad, a race had to be done!

Sometimes, taking a risk with the weather pays off. :)
